During my stay at the Omni, I found it to be a blend of luxury and convenience, with very comfortable bedding and friendly service. However, the check-in delay was frustrating, given that our room wasn't ready despite arriving at 4:30 pm for a wedding. Overall, while the location was fantastic and the hotel was pleasant, there were some areas that could use improvement.
Rooms

My Premier King Room offered stunning views of Long Island Sound, and the size was quite nice. though the coffee maker and fridge were unplugged. The bathroom felt outdated, which detracted from the experience.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay, and their quick response to my requests was appreciated. although the initial check-in experience was not handled well.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located in downtown New Haven, just steps away from Yale and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. making it easy to explore without needing my car.
Dining
10.0
Breakfast offered delicious options, and I loved the handmade sausage, egg, and cheese English muffin sandwich. truly a nice start to the day.

7.0/10
I had a decent stay at the Omni New Haven, characterized by a classic ambiance and a comfortable bed, though my experience was marred by some inconsistencies. The hotel's central location near Yale University was a significant advantage, making it easy for me to explore the area. However, issues like noise disturbances from the street and dining disappointments kept my stay from being perfect.
Rooms
6.0
My room was nicely decorated, and I appreciated the elegant touches, though the noise from outside was quite disruptive, especially during the festival weekend. The bathroom amenities were lacking with the body wash being empty, and the toilet paper was disappointingly flimsy.
Service
8.0
The staff were attentive and professional, which made a positive impact on my experience. They handled any queries I had promptly, showing a commitment to guest satisfaction. However, the overall dining options and their availability fell short of expectations, with many places closed during my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel is ideally positioned in the heart of New Haven, close to shops, restaurants, and Yale University. This convenience allowed me to explore easily on foot. Such a prime location, however, does come with its challenges, particularly noise levels from street events.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited during my stay, with the café closed at times when I expected it to be open. I struggled to find convenient meal options nearby, only to realize that local cafes had longer hours. The bar served drinks but no food, which was disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities were generally adequate, I felt the value was not fully realized given the lack of amenities like breakfast or a pool. Basic needs were met, but the hotel seems to be aging in a few aspects, which was unexpected for a hotel with such a reputation.

I loved the stunning views from the 19th-floor restaurant during breakfast, adding a special touch to my mornings. While I did find the absence of complimentary wifi a bit disappointing, the overall convenience of the hotel's location near Yale and local dining options made up for it.
Rooms

Breakfast on the top floor was good, with a great variety of options and amazing views of the city. I would have preferred a lunch room service option, though.
Facilities

While the hotel had great facilities overall, I was surprised by the limited dining options and the extra charge for wifi. Still, the valet service was impressively efficient.

I had a pleasant stay at the Omni New Haven Hotel At Yale. The location is fantastic, with tons of dining options nearby and a great view from the 19th-floor restaurant. However, my room had a bit of a musty smell, and the bedding could definitely use some updating. The gym was open 24 hours, which was a plus for me.
